AMPATI: The review meeting of the District Coordination Committee of South West Garo Hills was held here in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Ampati, on Friday.
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh welcomed the district officers and urged all the line departments to highlight the progress as well as problems in implementation of various schemes.
He also asked all the district heads of offices to monitor all the schemes and projects being implemented through their departments in the district and not to compromise on the quality of work so as to ensure their success.
During the meeting, issues of land allotment, land encroachment, need for submission of vacant posts to the District Selection Committee, need for Internet connection in the district offices and inter-departmental issues were also taken up for discussion.
