Murder victim’s body recovered from forest in EJH

JOWAI: The body of one Hemsumi Dkhar was recovered from a jungle near Jalaphet village in East Jaintia Hills District on Saturday last.

“Unknown miscreants murdered him and dumped his body inside the jungle,” police sources said on Monday.

The deceased hailed from Moobakhon village in West Jaintia Hills but was residing at Jalaphet village, East Jaintia Hills. Police have registered a murder case and investigation is on to nab the culprits.
