Workshop on packaging of fresh and processed food

SHILLONG: The Indian Institute of Packaging will organise a one-day national workshop on ‘Packaging of Fresh and Processed Food Entrepreneurs’ for the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs of North-Eastern zone at Hotel Pinewood on Tuesday.

Deputy Director and Branch Head, Indian Institute of Packaging, Bidhan Das, in a press meet on Monday said the workshop aims at disseminating information about the trends and technologies in the packaging of processed foods.

He also stressed on the need to create awareness about the importance of packaging system among the entrepreneurs.
