NGT ban: Land owners’ body pledges to fight on

NONGSTOIN: The Hima Nongstoin Land Owners Coal Traders & Producers Association (HNLOCTPA) will go all out to fight the petition filed by the All Dimasa Student Union (ADSU) against coal mining in Meghalaya that has “gravely affected the poor in West Khasi Hills and the state as a whole.”
HNLOCTPA publicity secretary, AL Syiem said that the Association will not give up the fight but stand firm against the case filed by the ADSU till the end.”
“The Association will continue to fight on the issue as it has affected the public and ruined the custom of Khasi land holders,” he said.
