HYC deports 200 ‘illegal’ labourers

KILLING: The Hynñiewtrep Youth Council (HYC), North Khasi Hills District on Saturday sent back as many as 200 non-tribal workers from the construction site of Delhi Public School, Killing to Assam for not possessing valid documents.

The HYC swung into action after receiving information about the presence of the labourers in the area and conducted a spot inspection following which the workers were asked to leave.
