Man washed away in JH

JOWAI: A 52-year-old man identified as Khroo Lyngdoh of Ialong village was reportedly washed away at river Myntdu on Friday.

The village Dorbar conducted a search operation on Saturday and again on Sunday but failed to trace the body. According to the villagers, the incident took place while the victim was trying to cross the over-flowing river.
