(ST) Artists perform during the grand finale of the the Breakfree Tour 2104 conducted by the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Synod Sepngi, through the Urban Mission at the Community Hall, Mission Compound, in the city on Saturday. The event witnessed performances by local artists, bands, and Gospel groups. Rev. D.S. Sohkhlet, Sr. Executive Secretary, KJP Synod Sepngi, and Rev VTS Langstieh, who is currently associated with SANKER Hospital, addressed the gathering on the occasion. The Synod, through this Mission in collaboration with state Social Welfare Department organised an awareness programme cum- musical event for school/college students of Shillong. This event, entitled “Breakfree”, covers nine schools and one college.
