JOWAI: West Jaintia Hills Police conducted a raid at the residence of one Enti Sajem of Khliehsniriang village under Laskein Block in the district on Saturday last and seized a modified SBBL gun and arrested the owner, according to delayed information.
The SBBL gun was modified allegedly with some criminal motive, Police said, adding, the same gun was used in the sensational twin murder case at Barato-Laskein Road where a brother and his sister were brutally murdered inside the car they were travelling on.
Police also informed that they raided the house based on leads provided from two prime accused in the twin murder case – Coming Rabon and Abiding Rabon – who led the police team to the house on Saturday.
