VDP lock-up death: Victim’s body to be exhumed today

JOWAI: The body of Sindu Tati who died in a VDP lock-up at Muktapur will be exhumed on Wednesday.

Tati was picked up by the Village Defense Party (VDP) personnel recently and was detained for the night at the lock-up in Muktapur village Dorbar. The village Dorbar, however, buried his body without informing the police. Police officials on Tuesday visited Muktapur to conduct an inquiry into the incident. The body of the victim will be exhumed for further probe, a police official said.
