Bendaginca has been awarded the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) by NEHU for her thesis “Assessment of Runoff in shifting cultivation areas of Upper Dikhu river basin” under the supervision of Prof. Surendra Singh. She is the daughter of Temsu and wife of Anton Decruse Waanbah, of Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
