I learnt Hindi by watching Akshay’s film: Lisa Haydon

Model-turned-actress Lisa Haydon, who shares screen space with Akshay Kumar in upcoming film ‘The Shaukeens’, says in her initial years in Bollywood she used to watch the ‘Khiladi’ star’s films to learn Hindi.
Akshay will do a cameo as himself in ‘The Shaukeens’ and the 28-year-old ‘Queen’ actress essays the role of a crazy fan of the Bollywood star. “I still can’t believe that I am doing a film with Akshay. I am a fan but not a crazy one like a play in the movie. If he knew I was psycho, he would never work with me. There is so much respect for him. When I was learning Hindi, I used to watch his films because he speaks the language so well,” Lisa told PTI. ‘
The Shaukeens’ is a remake of the 1982 film ‘Shaukeen’ directed by Basu Chatterjee. The new film stars Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra and Annu Kapoor, who are lusting after a much younger girl played by Lisa. The movie has been directed by Abhishek Sharma of ‘Tere Bin Laden’ fame and produced by Akshay. It will hit theatres on November 7. (PTI)

I regret drunk driving: Lindsay Lohan

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested twice for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2007, says she regrets her actions. Lohan, 28, who has also been in rehab nine times, vows never to drive drunk again, reported Contactmusic.
“I would never have got behind the wheel of a car after having a drink. Ever,” the ‘Mean Girls’ actress said when asked what one thing about her life she would change. Lohan, who is currently starring in West End play ‘Speed-the-Plow’, says she had lost focus in the past but is determined to get her career back on track.
“Acting is what I do, it’s therapeutic for me, it’s fun for me. At the end of the day that’s the most important thing. The diligence and focus you have to have, that I maybe lost sight of for a little bit. Well I’m prepared now to deliver and all I can do is my best,” she said. (PTI)

‘Interview With a Vampire’ one of my worst films: Pitt

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has revealed his 1994 horror film ‘Interview With a Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles’ was one of his worst movies ever. The 50-year-old actor starred with Tom Cruise in the movie and says if the project had come along later in his career, he would have either had changes made or walked away from the film, reported Contactmusic.
“It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Six months in the dark, contact lenses, make-up… Now I would be able to say, ‘This is a problem, we fix this, or I’m out of here,” Pitt said. The ‘Fury’ star says he lacked direction and focus in his early career, and did not concentrate on doing quality films. (PTI)

Bieber posts candid photo with Gomez

Amid reports of another split with his on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez, singer Justin Bieber took to a social networking platform to post a photograph where she’s seen kissing his bicep.
He took to photo-sharing website Instagram to share the update. Gomez unfollowed Bieber on Instagram earlier this week after he was spotted enjoying a lunch date with her model friend Kendall Jenner in Paris.  However, that didn’t deter Bieber from sharing a candid photograph of himself with Gomez Sunday. The picture appears to have been taken during the couple’s getaway to Caribbean last week. (PTI)
