SHILLONG: Passengers of a bus were looted by armed miscreants on wee hours of Monday at Dangar in East Khasi Hills.

According to police, at around 4.45 am on Monday, six unidentified masked miscreants robbed gold ornaments and cash valued at Rs. 2,82,000 from the passengers of Star bus (ML-06-5380) driven by Shrek Nongbet and also from one Maruti car (ML-05G-1037) driven by Masainlang Syiemiong at Laitumsaw village, Dangar, East Khasi Hills
