Illegal stone quarry

Bajeng Marak and Khentak Marak jointly lodged a complaint at Tura PS that during the incessant rain in September , their respective farming land and crops were destroyed due to dumping of stone and sand debris from the illegal stone quarry at Ujenggre village under Garobadha OP (WGH) causing huge loss to them.

Minor knocked down

On October 16 at around 5.15 pm, one local taxi (ML-05E-2059) driven by Sonatham Boro knocked down one minor boy, Koko Singsit (6) at Laitumkhrah, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.

One killed

On October 15 at around 7.45 pm, one motorcycle (ML-05H-7691) ridden by Kyrdon Dkhar (36) dashed against a road divider at 13th Mile, GS Road Ri Bhoi . As a result, pillion rider Pyrshang Shadap (28 yrs) died on the spot.

Sexual abuse

On October 15, a woman of Caroline Colony, Jowai (WJH) lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that one Ramsing Tongper sexually abused her minor daughter.

Cash looted

On October 15, Morning Phawa lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that unidentified miscreants looted cash Rs 10,000 and other valuables worth about Rs. 6,10,000/- from her house at Caroline Colony, Jowai (WJH).

One Christina Pala lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on Oct. 14, unknown miscreants broke into her residence at Sutnga (EJH) and stole Rs. 40 lakh.

On October 14 at around 11.30 pm, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Bachu Dey at Ichamati (EKH) and stole Rs 50,000 and goods valued around Rs. 60,000.
