Muzaffarnagar: A married woman was allegedly gangraped by three people here when she was alone in her house in the Janakpuri locality in the Civil Lines area, police said.
According to SHO Chander Kiran, a case has been registered in the matter against the three accused, identified as Momin, Aqil and Gulfam, who are all absconding after the alleged act on Wednesday. The woman has been sent for a medical examination, police added. According to the complaint by the woman, the three accused allegedly entered her house and gangraped her when her husband was away. She said that the accused also threatened her against talking to anybody about the incident.
Meanwhile, two people were arrested here for allegedly misbehaving with a couple of women police constables and preventing them from discharging their official duty. Police said that a case was registered against the two accused, identified as Naseem and Mustakim. (PTI)
