Bynes to spend another month in psychiatric facility
Troubled actress Amanda Bynes will spend at least another month receiving psychiatric care.On Monday, a judge agreed to extend her involuntary commitment to a psychiatric facility in California for 30 days, reports people.com.
According to reports, doctors treating the onetime child star approached the judge about extending the stay, explaining they do not think she is well enough to be discharged.
Bynes first entered a facility Oct 10, following a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest, a shoplifting incident and a series of worrisome tweets.
The initial 72-hour hold was extended for two weeks Oct 13, and she would have been eligible for release on Monday if her doctors had not approached the judge.
This is not Bynes’s first time in a psychiatric facility. She was forcibly hospitalised in July 2013 following a string of troublesome behaviours, including starting a small fire in a driveway. (IANS)
Ronan Keating wants ‘Game of Thrones’ themed wedding
Boyzone star Ronan Keating has revealed that he would like a ‘Game of Thrones’ wedding, should he and Storm Uechtritz ever tie the knot. Keating met Uechtritz on the ‘Australian X-Factor’, where the 37-year-old singer is a judge, and is already thinking about the style of wedding, reported Femalefirst. “If we did get married, I was thinking more of a ‘Game of Thrones’ kind of theme, but she’s really earthy,” Keating said. Uechtritz added: “Yeah, I’d want it to be very organic and natural. I grew up on a farm in North Queensland so I’d like simplicity.” Keating split from his wife Yvonne Connolly in 2012, after over a decade together. The couple had three children, Jack, Missy, and Ali. But Keating believes that he had found his soulmate with Uechtritz, but they couple are in no rush to walk down the aisle. “We’ve both found our soulmate and we know that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together. But we’re not in a rush to make an announcement about wedding bells just yet,” he said. (PTI)
The big risk that Julia Roberts has taken
Actress Julia Roberts feels she has taken a “big risk” by not going under the knife to fight the ageing marks. “By Hollywood standards, I guess I’ve already taken a big risk in not having had a face-lift,” the 47-year-old actress told You magazine, reports contactmusic.com. Roberts, who married Danny Moder in 2002, has three children and she is loving her life. She credits her healthy and wholesome lifestyle for keeping her happy and worry-free as she gets older. “There’s a lightness to my life now — an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That’s happiness. “It’s about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally,” she said. (IANS)
