A religious ritual during the Ka Pom-Blang Nongkrem, the annual thanksgiving festival being held at Smit, the capital of Khyrim Syiemship, on Friday. The Festival will conclude with the traditional dance on Saturday. (ST)

Pomblang Iewduh obeisance being paid by the subject of Hima Khyrim for the overall well being of the Hima. The obeisance includes a practice called ‘‘Bujai Blang” where the subject donates a land or goat as part of the ritual. This is part of the five-day long Pomblang Syiem Festival or Shad Nongkrem Festival which concludes on Saturday. (
