Workshop
Office of Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with State Resource Centre, Shillong Civil Hospital, will organize a sensitization workshop on rights and entitlements of persons with disabilities at Yojana Bhawan on Nov 11 at 10 AM.
Golden jubilee
Closing ceremony of the golden jubilee celebration of Kamala Nehru Sec. School, Shillong, will be held on Nov 5. Deborah marak will be chief guest at the programme.
Birth anniv
The 546th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji will be celebrated by City Gurudwara, Bara Bazar, and other places and will include religious processions (Nagar Kirtan) on Nov 5-6. Celebration will commence with Sri Akhand Path Guru Granth Sahebji.
SSSS election
The Synjuk Ki Seng Samla Shnong will conduct its election on Nov 7 at Jaiaw Shyiap- Lumpyllon community hall from 10 am for its office bearers for 2014-19.
