Lucknow:Admitting that Narendra Modi phobia in the country will continue for around a year,Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) supremo Mayawati today said that in the BJP regime ‘ Acche din’ has only returned for the industrialists and the businessmen.
She said that the BJP government has failed to keep its promises on black-money, inflation and unemployment problem but on the other hand gave all sops to the industrialists and business in this short duration.
” The win-win condition of the BJP would continue for a year as people are still believing on the promises made by Narendra Modi but after that he will have to face the music and ‘ bure-din’ will return for them,” she claimed.
Addressing a press conference here, Ms Mayawati claimed that the win of BJP in Maharastra and Haryana assembly polls could be attributed to peoples’ mood against the Congress and voters still giving some time to the BJP to fulfill their promises.
” In the unemployment sector, the BJP government had done nothing and only some hand-picked people of the saffron brigade got some opportunity,” she added.
Ms Mayawati said that the coming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Varanasi from November 7 was an effort to cover up his lapses and promises made to the voters of the temple city.
However, the BSP president was critical on the Akhilesh Yadav government of UP, saying that the governor should not wait for a minute to recommend President’s rule in the state.
Ms Mayawati said that the present SP government has shelved all its old projects as people have rejected them and now they are just toeing the line of development initiated by the BSP during its regime.(UNI)
