SHILLONG: HSPDP MDC Morningstar Mawsor is likely to be inducted as an Executive member in the Adelbert Nongrum-led Executive Committee in the KHADC.
KHADC CEM Adelbert Nongrum informed on Friday that the Mawshynrut MDC’s name has been forwarded to Governor K.K. Paul for approval.
He informed that he was waiting for the approval from the Governor before announcing the portfolio of the new member in the EC.
The development comes in the wake of the resignation of KHNAM MDC James Ban Basaiawmoit who quit as EM on Tuesday to pave way for induction of one more MDC from HSPDP in the Executive Committee, ostensibly to end the ongoing rumblings within the ruling All Regional Parties’ Alliance.
