The Deputy Commissioner informed that the district administration seized the truck after it was found that the agency was openly indulging in point delivery of LPG cylinders in violation of the order.

He said that the truck (ML 05 J 5526) was seized along with 150 LPG cylinders out of which 148 were empty while two were filled. The district administration also filed an FIR against the manager of the agency.

Goyal also warned that stringent action would be taken against defaulting gas agencies. He, further, informed that the price of an LPG cylinder is Rs 449.50 which includes Rs.25 as home delivery charge and urged the consumers to immediately bring to the notice of the district administration any violation of the norms or the price by the gas agencies.
