Four-year-old kidnapped, raped

A person lodged a complaint at Riangdo OP that on November 9 at about 8 pm, one Gabriel Kharshandi (32) kidnapped one four-year-old girl to a jungle at Porla village (WKH), where he raped her.

Abduction

On November 9 at about 8 am, four unidentified armed miscreants abducted one Saha Allom (40) from Chipakram (NGH). They demanded Rs.10 lakh from him and also looted cash Rs.5220 and one cell phone. However, the abducted victim managed to escape.

Church articles stolen

Rev. Fr. Rimiki Niangti, Asst. Parish Priest Resurrection, Pynursla lodged a complaint at Pynursla PS that on November 9 at around 7 pm, one boy (15) stole Church articles from the Parish House. Police arrested the accused.

Threat messages

One Sangjendro Ch. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on November 2, 6 & 8 this year, he received three anonymous SMSs demanding Rs.3,50,000 from him with a threat of dire consequences.

Looting

One Kamal Hussain lodged a complaint at Shallang PS that on November 8 at about 5.30 pm, John Rongrin, Hahrit Rongrit and their accomplices entered his house at Nongriaba village (WKH), assaulted him with a dagger and also looted Rs. 25,000 from his wife. Police arrested John Rongrin.

Threat call

One Md. Israfil Hoque lodged a complaint at Monabari OP that on November 7, he received one anonymous call demanding Rs.5 lakh from him within twenty-four hours, failing which the caller threatened to abduct him. In this connection, Police arrested one Tereng Sangma.

One Tusar Roy lodged a complaint at Mahendraganj PS that on November 6, he found that unknown miscreants damaged and stole the underground cable belonging to Telecommunication Department at Chapahati-I (SWGH).

One dead after falling from stadium

A woman, identified as Saminur Bibi lodged a complaint at Phulbari PS that Kharirul Islam, Principal of Kazi Zamal College, employed her husband, Md. Motior Rahman for fitting the CI sheets of an Indoor Stadium at Kandergaon (WGH). On November 4 at around 2 pm, her husband fell from the roof of the stadium, while he was working without a safety belt. He sustained injuries and was rushed to Phulbari Hospital, where the Medial Officer on duty declared him brought dead.

Bus looted

One Sofiqul Islam, conductor of night super bus (AS-01R-3597) lodged a complaint at Phulbari PS that on November 3 at around 3.45 am, a gang of dacoits (8/9) waylaid the bus at Tinmoni Bhaitbari (WGH) and robbed the passengers of their belongings and cash Rs.2,500.

Attempt to break ATM

On the night of November 12, unknown miscreants attempted to break the SBI ATM at Byrnihat Branch.

Woman sexually assaulted

On Nov 10 at around 4 pm, one unidentified person sexually assaulted one 28-year-old woman at Narwan jungle (EJH) and released her on Nov 11 morning.

Chowkidar threatened

On November 9 at around 11 pm, a group of unidentified miscreants entered into the Gambil Government Aided Upper Primary School at Gambil (NGH) and threatened the chowkidar. They also took away one computer monitor and accessories.

Conspiracy

One Atul Kumar Jain of Jain’s IAS Study Circle, Chief Minister’s Career Guidance Centre, Laitumkhrah, lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that one Saurabh Agarwal, teacher of the institution has been hatching a conspiracy with the non-teaching staff of the institution against the complainant. On Nov 8 at around 7.38 am, he sent an SMS to the complainant demanding Rs. 20 lakh from him and threatened him with dire consequences.

Cover up exposed

One Ram Prasad Sahu lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on April 4 and 30 this year, Md. Nurul Hussain and Md. Joyrul Islam of Karimganj, Assam, purchased thirty truck loads of coal amounting to Rs.15 lakh and made partial payment of Rs.7,30,000. When the complainant asked about the remaining amount, Md. Nurul Hussain and Md. Joyrul Islam kept one truck (AS-01EC-2413) in his coal mine at Chiehruphi, as security.

On September 22 this year, one Md. Kamrul Islam lodged a complaint that on Apr. 16, 2014, Md. Nurul Hussain hired his truck (AS-01EC-2413) at the rate of Rs. 1 lakh per month and since then he has lost contact with him. However, during enquiry, it transpired that Md. Joyrul Islam is the elder brother of Md. Kamrul Islam and the complaint was lodged by him only to cover up the misdeed of Md. Joyrul Islam.
