World Diabetes Day observed

SHILLONG: As many as 360 people took part in a walk organized to observe the World Diabetes Day in the city on Friday. The walk was organised by  Bansara Eye Care Centre, Society for Promotion of Eye Care and Sight, World Diabetes Foundation (Denmark) and the Seng Kynthei Lummawrie.
The walk which commenced from Fire Brigade Ground, ended at the Basketball Court at Lady Veronica Path, Laitumkhrah. The Walk was flagged off by the Health Minister AL Hek. The walk ended with a signature campaign for the fight against diabetes.
