SHILLONG: KHADC CEM Adelbert Nongrum on Sunday informed that he was awaiting the approval of Governor K.K. Paul to induct HSPDP MDC Morningstar Mawsor as an Executive Member in the Council.
“We are anticipating the approval by Monday,” Nongrum said, adding that the portfolio of the new EM would be decided only after the Governor’s approval.
Earlier, KHNAM MDC James Ban Basaiawmoit had resigned to pave way for induction of the HSPDP member in the EC to quell the growing rumblings within the ruling ARPA.
