Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong lodges complaint against Ri Bhoi DC

SHILLONG: Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong, Eastern Range, has submitted a memorandum with Chief Minister Mukul Sangma expressing dissatisfaction with the performance of Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner Pooja Pandey.

In the memorandum, the Synjuk Ki Rangbah Shnong said that hundreds of public have lodged complaints with the district administration but the same were yet to be resolved.

The Synjuk further stated that it had lodged a complaint regarding the pollution of Umiam river but no action had been taken by the Deputy Commissioner, adding that the district had suffered tremendously due to flood problems but no concrete action was taken on the matter either by the Deputy Commissioner or by the administration.
