DDK Shillong felicitates senior AIR, DD officials

SHILLONG: Doordarshan Kendra Shillong on Wednesday felicitated Ms. Nariman Shadap, Deputy Director General (DDG), All India Radio and Ms. S.Sweety Diengdoh, former Director and Chief Producer, Doordarshan Kendra Shillong at a function held in the conference room of the Kendra at Laitkor.

The function was presided by Derrick.P.Pariat, Head of Programme and was graced by C.Lalrosanga, Additional Director General, Doordarshan North East Region. Officers and staff of programme, engineering, news and administrative wings of the Kendra attended the function.

It may be noted that Shadap and Diengdoh are the only persons of Khasi origin to have attained the position of Deputy Director General in All India Radio and Chief Producer in Doordarshan respectively. Keeping this in view the two senior officers were felicitated by Doordarshan Kendra Shillong in appreciation of there association, dedication and leadership.
