NEN campaign
North East Network is taking part in the global campaign “16 days of activism” against gender-based violence from November 25 to December 10. In this connection an awakening march would be organized on November 25 from the North East Network office at Jingkieng till Eldorado Guest House, Dhankheti, Shillong.

Apropos the news report (ST, Nov 21) under the caption ‘Rewak victims shifted to Guwahati’, the Commandant of 3rd MLP Battalion, Khliehtyrshi, Maxwell B. Syiem, was among the police officials who paid floral tribute to late head constable Aldrin Lyngdoh, and not as reported. The error is regretted.
