Case against Jonathone

SHILLONG: Yet another case has surfaced against the Independent candidate of Williamnagar Jonathone Sangma, who had dragged Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak and Tennydard Marak to the court over the latters’ alleged nexus with GNLA.

The complainant, Salgra R Marak in his complaint had accused Jonathone for the attack on some persons who were manning a weighbridge and office selling ‘C’ form at Dobu, around 21 km from Williamnagar.

In the attack which happenend in 2006, a person identified as Jenifil Sangma was killed.

The Williamnagar police had registered a case against Jonathone under 395/ 397/436/427/396 of IPC.

The complainant is planning to pursue the case.
