SHILLONG: The BSF troops deployed in West Garo Hills apprehended three GNLA cadres in Nokchi area while they were coming from Purakhasia on a bike on Saturday, a delayed report said. The apprehended cadres have been identified as Roneth Ch Marak, Ringaing Ch Marak and Modil R Marak, all hailing from South West Garo Hills.
Roneth and Ringaing underwent training in 2012 and worked under area Commander Simbat. He was also involved in many illegal activities after the completion of their training. A memory card was recovered from Ringaing containing the video of GNLA training and his photo posing with AK-47.
