SAHAJA YOGA/Surendra Singh
WITH THE growth of population, society grew and nations developed. Hence it was necessary to organize society and lay down proper guidelines for its harmonious functioning. The gap, caused by the sense of separate identity, prevented man from realizing his source and living in harmony with the laws of evolution. Through rationality it could not be discovered, as rationality is not mature enough; it is not enlightened. The divine is unlimited and cannot be known through the limited channels of the rationale; yet it can be experienced through the spirit. Thus; attention is to be focused on the spirit. To draw the consciousness into a subtle focus, man has to become subtle himself. The code of conduct assists man in this subtle realm. This code of conduct and welfare is manifested by the third energy centre of subtle body known as Nabhi Chakra.
In Sahaja yoga, after awakening our spirit; we can put everything in its place. In the rest of thoughtlessness, we are absolutely satisfied .We understand that the spirit has nothing to do with transitory things or fashion.
Nabhi – the centre of wellbeing – is both physical and material. When people began to develop their creative abilities, they also learned to use natural resources for their benefit and so improve their wellbeing. Wellbeing is a step in evolution and money – a necessary mean of exchange to meet the needs and desires of people. If we do not have the resources to meet basic needs, while they absorb our attention, distracting us for the true path. When needs are satisfied, their nothing hinders our spiritual growth. Our spiritual growth depends on our satisfaction, and satisfaction on how much we are generous and open our heart. If we give we get the first benefit of this action and our Nabhi Chakra get better.
Nabhi Chakra regulates the speed and direction of human evolution, since it is the centre that controls the mean of livelihood which food, family love, parenthood and relationship. The ten commandments that determine the behaviour principles are morality, righteousness, ethics, generosity, and non-attachment to material, food, livelihood, wellbeing, and satisfaction, physical, mental and spiritual support. Another aspect of Nabhi Chakra is right conduct of life. In Sahaja Yoga you are your judge. Vibration creates a precedent and your job to reach a verdict and bring it into execution. This is a direct benefit we get from Sahaja Yoga. This centre controls the digestion system. If disrupts the stomach, then worsens digestion and assimilation of food. If we are constantly in a hurry, angry or worried during the meal, then food poorly digest because in this condition the stomach muscles shrinks and cannot properly participate in the digestion of food.
Problems of Nabhi Chakra for the left side: Family or domestic problems, dominant husband/wife, too much anxiety. For the right side: Food. And for the centre: Asceticism, alcohol and drugs, too much interest in food. In Sahaja Yoga, when this chakra is enlightened by the Kundalini awakening, it expresses inner sense of morality and gives us complete balance at all levels of our life.
