Chennai: Indian team suffered their second defeat in two days, losing to fifth seed France in the WSF World Womens Team Squash Championship at Niagara-on-the-lake in Canada on Tuesday.

Reports received here said France won 3-0 in the Group D match to keep its hopes alive of progressing where India needs to win one its next set of matches against Austria or South Africa to stay in the race for a 9-13 position. It was another bleak show from the Indians. Anaka Alankamony started aggressively against World number 40 Coline Aumard but could not cope with the pressure as the contest wore on.
