SHILLONG: The ST status case of Chief Minister Mukul Sangma pending in the Supreme Court has again been postponed till December 18.

There were many dates fixed in the past, the latest being December 12, but the date was again deferred by another week due to the same reason of ‘excess matter’.

For the last four months, the hearing has been delayed though originally it was listed on July 21 this year.

It is unlikely that the matter will be heard this year.
