SHILLONG: Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank MCAB has been approved by the Ministry of Petroleum for the Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG.
The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal clarified that the account holders of MCAB can give the same account details for DBT linkage to the respective gas agencies and they need not open any new account for this purpose.
The consumers can get the IFS code from their respective branch managers or from the gas agencies, Goyal added.
