It was left to senior pro Joshna Chinappa to turn the tables then, but despite putting up a valiant fight, clawing back from two games down, the Chennai girl failed in the deciding fifth game against Samantha Cornett. Level on tie scores, the burden was on newcomer Sachika Ingale to win the tie. But Nikki Todd ensured that it only a dream, winning quite effortlessly. (pti)
