SHILLONG: A panel discussion on separation of Judiciary from Executive, and a separate concluding function will mark the end of the yearlong centenary celebration of Shillong Bar Association. The Secretary of Shillong Bar Association Subir Sen said in a statement issued here on Saturday that the concluding function of the yearlong centenary celebration of the Shillong Bar Association will be held on December 9 at U Soso Tham Auditorium Hall, here, from 12 noon.
Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Sanbor Shullai will be the chief guest, while West Shillong legislator Paul Lyngdoh will be guest of honour.
A panel discussion on separation of Judiciary from Executive will be held on December 8 at 4 pm along with the distribution of prizes for various events organized in connection with the centenary celebration of the Bar at the same venue.
