Blood testing camp held at Diengsong village in EKH

SHILLONG: The 3rd year students of Social Work Department along with students and teachers of the Bio-Chemistry Department and the NSS Unit of St. Edmund’s College, Shillong organised a one-day Blood Testing Camp in collaboration with Laitryngew PHC and Tynrai Foundation, a newly formed organisation which focuses on the Community development in 12 shnong areas, at Diengsong village in East Khasi Hills District on Monday.

The students felt the need to create a community blood bank in the form of a directory register where people will know their own blood group and other health issues relating to blood, especially during the case emergency arises.
