Keira Knightley expecting her first child
British actress Keira Knightley is expecting her first child with husband James Righton, the co-vocalist and keyboardist for London-based band Klaxons. The 29-year-old actress is more than three months pregnant, reported New York Post. A glowing Knightley fuelled rumours of a pregnancy as she stayed away from alcohol at a recent event. The star appeared at her husband’s side in an embroidered and billowy, ivory fur-trimmed Rocha dress very different from her usual fitted style. Pregnancy rumours first emerged in November when a magazine reported that she and Righton were expecting and it was a happy surprise for the couple. Knightley’s role as codebreaker Joan Clarke opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in wartime drama ‘The Imitation Game’ has earned her a nomination for the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Awards. (PTI)
Dr Dre named the Highest paid musician of 2014
Rapper-producer Dr Dre has been named the highest paid musician of 2014 after banking USD 620 million. The 49-year-old star landed the top spot with a figure nearly six times higher than Beyonce who was named second in the Forbes list. Beyonce’s this year earnings totalled USD 115 million. Dre’s massive earnings came from his music and electronics company, Beats, which he co-founded in 2008 and sold it to Apple in May 2014 for USD 3 billion. (PTI)
Highlight of 2014 was son becoming teenager: Jolie
Hollywood actress-director Angelina Jolie has revealed her year highlight wasn’t her wedding to beau Brad Pitt, but actually her eldest son Maddox becoming a teenager when he turned 13. The ‘Maleficent’ actress wed her long-term partner and fellow actor in August, but revealed her eldest son hitting 13 has been the most memorable moment of the year, reported People magazine. “My son Maddox became a teenager. That was a marker in my year,” she said. However, the 39-year-old star said she is simply thankful her family are fit and well, following a health scare last year which led to her having a double mastectomy to avoid the high possibility of contracting breast cancer. “More than anything, like any mom, I’m just happy the kids are healthy. I married their dad. My health is good,” Jolie added. The ‘Unbroken’ director’s brood also includes Pax, 11, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. (PTI)
Katie Price worried about her daughter
Former glamour model Katie Price is worried about her four-month-old daughter Bunny’s health conditions. The 36-year-old former model feels that her daughter is not doing as much as other babies of her age do, reported Contactmusic. Price’s elder son Harvey, 12, has a number of problems like autism, ADHD and partial blindness which concerns her more for her daughter. “I was a bit worried about her. I’m a bit paranoid with all of them because of Harvey. The health visitors are keeping an eye on her but because she was premature she seems to be a bit slow. “Other babies her age are doing a lot more than her. I feel she’s a bit vacant but she was premature. They’re going to see what she’s like in six more weeks then assess it. I’m hoping she’ll naturally catch up,” Price said. (PTI)
