EJH win against EKH

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills defeated East Khasi Hills district in an inter-district U-16 cricket match played in city on Friday.

After winning the toss, East Jaintia Hills piled up a challenging total of 157 runs for loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 35 overs.

Raju Laskar batted with patience to score 40 runs (75 balls) while a cameo of 29 runs (29 balls) by Kuillu Pradhan was the highlight of EJH innings.

Michael Makdoh and Pinku Biswas claimed 3 wickets each for EKH. In reply, EKH were bowled out for paltry 110 runs all out in 23.5 overs. On Saturday RiBhoi will take on West Garo Hills.
