SHILLONG: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will arrive here on a two-day visit on Friday.

According to sources, Rijiju is scheduled to land in Guwahati at 8 am on Friday. He would then fly to Dawki to take stock of the border management there.

The Union Minister will attend a function at Synod College thereafter.

Later in the day, Rijiju is scheduled to hold a meeting with senior bureaucrats at the Secretariat. The Union Minister will be felicitated by the State unit of the BJP at Youth Hostel at 4 pm. On Saturday, Rijiju will attend the passing out ceremony at the North Eastern Police Academy before concluding his trip to the Hill State.
