Training prog on food, beverage concludes in Tura

TURA: A valedictory function for pass-out students under ‘hunar se rozgar’ programme was organized by the Food Craft Institute, Tura at Polo Orchid Hotel in Najingbazar locality of the Town.

The scheme was sponsored by the Union Ministry of Tourism Capacity Building for Service provider (CBSP).

Chief guest on the occasion and Chairman of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council PK Sangma urged the trainee students to gainfully utilize the knowledge they received under the program for betterment of their livelihood and for productively engaging themselves in some self employment ventures.

He also handed over the certificates to the trainees.

It may be mentioned that the Food Craft Institute, Tura, regularly conducts short-term training courses in food production, bakery & patisserie, food & beverage services and housekeeping trades for deserving and interested students.
