Braille book distribution

TURA: The National Federation of the Blind [Northeast chapter] organized a free Braille book distribution ceremony at SMELC auditorium, Tura where it distributed books to nine blind college-going students from Garo Hills.

This was a part of a project undertaken by the Federation with the financial and technical assistance from National Institute for the Visually Handicap, Dehra Dun.

President of the Garo Baptist Convention, Roderick D Shira graced the occasion as the Chief

Guest along with Tura Government College Principal, Prenalish Marak who was the Guest of Honour.
