SHILLONG: To commemorate the 152nd Death Anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah, Sein Raij Niamtre Shillong will organize a public function on December 30 at 1 pm at Sein Raij Dorbar Hall, Qualapatty, Shillong.
Columnist and environmentalist HH Mohrmen will deliver a talk on the occasion. Deputy Speaker of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Sanbor Shullai will grace the function.
On the occasion a documentary on U Kiang Nangbah – the Patriot will also be screened. The film has been produced by the Films Division Mumbai, Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and directed by S Sweety Diengdoh.
