SHILLONG: One person was killed when a truck (ML-04-9860) driven by Khlur Dkhar (22) fatally knocked down Parsuram Kondo (40) at Umling in Ri Bhoi on Thursday evening.
In another accident, one truck (ML-04A-0561) fatally knocked down one Dirdosh Yadav at Ialong along NH-44 in West Jaintia Hills on December 22 at about 3:30 pm. A criminal case have been registered in this connection.
Again on December 25 at about 6 am, one vehicle (ML-06-7349) knocked down one minor boy Smila Basumatary (8) at Ryndangbriew in East Khasi Hills. The victim was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
