SHILLONG: To commemorate the 152nd death anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah, the KHNAM Youth Wing will organize an awareness programme at Jaiaw Stand Parking Lot, Motphran on December 30 from 10 am onwards.
KHNAM will also organize a candle light vigil the same day at Khyndai Lad at 5.30 pm in memory of the great freedom fighter.
KSU to unveil bust
Meanwhile, the KSU will formally unveil the bust of U Kiang Nangbah at PWD Central Division, Barik at 1 pm on December 30. KHADC CEM Adelbert Nongrum will be the chief guest on the occasion.
