UTP flees

SHILLONG: An under trial prisoner (UTP) fled from the Shillong Civil Hospital on Wednesday morning. Informing this, East Khasi Hills district police chief M Kharkrang said that the UTP Raplang Paswet fled from Male Surgical-I ward of the Civil Hospital at around 8am. He also said that two police personnel who were deployed for security of the UTP were placed under suspension.
