CISF constable kills colleague inside Umroi Airport

SHILLONG: A head constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) deputed on security duties at the Shillong Airport at Umroi was killed by his colleague inside the airport premises on Wednesday evening. Ri Bhoi Superintendent of Police CVS Reddy informed that Head Constable Amal Raj was stabbed with a Khukri (knife) by his colleague Pawan Kumar Singh at an isolated place inside the Airport premises while on duty.

The murder was a result of personal grudge, police said, while informing that the accused was arrested and forwarded before the court on Thursday.
