Week-long SAGY camp concludes

JOWAI: A week-long Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) camp organised by the office of the Block Development Officer, C&RD Laskein Block at Shangpung Mission and Shangpung Pohshnong concluded on Saturday with a function at Shangpung Presbyterian Secondary School.
The week-long camp witnessed various activities like demonstration of best practice videos, organizing an animal health camp, inspection of Anganwadi centres etc.
During the last day of the camp on Saturday, a cleaning drive, marathon and painting completion on model village and a free health check up were organised.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, CS Laloo was the chief guest on the occasion even as officers from various government departments attended the camp.
