New Delhi: Making their debut in the third edition of the Hockey India League (HIL), the power packed squad of Dabang Mumbai, coached by the vastly experienced Valentin Altenburg, is all set with their ‘undisclosed’ game plan.
Riding on a talented bunch of local and international players in the team, Dabang Mumbai seems to commence their outing in the much awaited League with full throttle.
Under the guidance of Coach Valentin Altenburg, Dabang Mumbai’s newly found clan is pretty confident in putting up an unparalleled show in the upcoming HIL.
Excited to be in India, Valentin is an active member in Teach4Germany and is keen on visiting Teach4India to explore and see how he can contribute towards the program.
Speaking about the team, Altenburg said, “In this recently established team while the local ensure confidence on home turf, the international players will bring in much needed experience and tactics to the field and will help the players in learning from each other. Players have been briefed to play with ambition and I shall train the boys to play fearlessly on the field.”
“As this will be the first time that Dabang Mumbai will participate in the Hockey India League, it will be an added advantage for our opponents who have participated in the previous two editions as they are well aware of the format as well as have got the opportunity to learn from their previous mistakes.
But at the same time our appearance in the league for the first time will help us as well, keeping in mind that the other teams would play against us for the first time, hence, will be clueless about our strategies and game plan,” he added.(UNI)
