Ex-bureaucrat breathes his last

SHILLONG: Webster Davis Jyrwa, retired Station Director, All India Radio (Selection Grade), and retired Director, Arts and Culture Department, breathed his last on Wednesday.
Jyrwa was also the former president of the Khasi Author’s Society and was also a recipient of the highest award of Scouts and Guides the ‘Silver Elephant’ in 2010. He was a resident of Jaiaw Langsning.
The funeral will be held on January 23 at 2 pm.
The Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides has expressed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family of Webster Davies Jyrwa, its former vice president.
