Gurgaon legislator accused of rape

Gurgaon:  A police complaint has been filed against BJP legislator from Gurgaon Umesh Aggarwaal accusing him of raping a 25-year-old Delhi woman, police said on Wednesday.
The complaint was filed in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar police station, Delhi Police sources said.
The woman, a resident of Tilak Nagar, said in the complaint that she was raped by Aggarwaal Jan 3.
Aggarwaal, who was elected from Gurgaon in the elections to the Haryana assembly held in October 2014, told IANS over phone that he was in Chandigarh and will clarify the matter on Thursday. (IANS)
