118th Birth Anniversary of Netaji celebrated

Kohima: The Netaji Birthday Celebration Committee, established in the year 1988, has observed the 118th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Dimapur Railway Colony on Friday.
The President of Dimapur Bengali Samaj K. K. Paul graced the programme as the Chief Guest.
Paul in his address has appealed the gathering not to forget the true freedom fighter of India, while Bhattacharjee said Netaji should be remembered by youth of Nagaland for his last journey to Chesezu village in Phek district of Nagaland, which is marked as national tourist spot.
The event was marked by cultural programme. (UNI)
